COVID-19 - APPOINTMENT SYSTEM

All GP surgeries have been advised to move towards a telephone based service (This includes online appointments) and to reduce face to face contact in a bid to slow the spread of coronavirus in the community.

All of our online appointments have been changed to telephone or video consultations, please log into your online account to book these virtual consultations/telephone triage appointments.

For a telephone triage appointment please call the surgery on 01623 844421 and request a call back. This is for on the day appointments, If you require a telephone triage on a specific day do to work etc please speak to our reception team.

Appointments

Patients can be seen by appointment, made in advance either by telephone or through the online service. If you need to see the doctor more urgently please telephone the health centre at 08:30 and you will be given an appointment for the same day.

We also offer late evening appointments up to 19:45 on Wednesdays and early morning appointments on a Tuesday that start from 06:45 - 08:00 for both nurse and doctor appointments that can be booked in advance.

The practice is also working with other local GP surgeries in offering late night and weekend appointments. To use this appointment system call the surgery and inform the member of staff that you wish to book onto the late night surgeries. They will then be able to offer you appointments on late nights at our surgery and others throughout the working week.

Saturday clinics will run every week at a different surgery each Saturday.

On line appointment booking is available, simply register at reception with photo Id and follow the link at the top of this page.

To book an appointment please ring 01623 844421.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly. (This does not included the issuing of medication)

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
